We are thrilled to invite you to participate in Career Day on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Philadelphia High School for Girls—an enduring Girls’ High tradition that reflects our collective commitment to excellence, mentorship, and sisterhood.
We warmly welcome back all alumnae who have previously participated in Career Day—thank you for helping sustain this meaningful tradition year after year. And to alumnae who are considering joining us for the first time, welcome! We are excited to invite you into a legacy of service that continues to shape future generations.
Career Day is one of our alma mater’s most impactful traditions, offering students the invaluable opportunity to learn directly from accomplished alumnae who once walked the same halls they do now. By sharing your professional journey, insights, and lessons learned, you help students broaden their perspectives, build confidence, and imagine what’s possible for their own futures.
We welcome alumnae from all career fields and stages, whether you are a seasoned Career Day participant or joining us for the very first time. Participation may include panel discussions, classroom visits, or interactive sessions, either in person or virtually.
Careers We Are Especially Seeking This Year
In addition to traditional career paths such as education, law/governance, and medicine, we are particularly interested in hearing from alumnae working in or experienced with the following fields:
-
Digital media
-
Ultrasound / diagnostic medical imaging
-
Biotechnology
-
Sports and sports management
-
Oncology
-
Nursing (across all specialties and fields)
-
Entrepreneurship
-
Poetry and literary arts
-
Fashion and design
-
Culinary Arts, restaurant ownership, and hospitality
-
Writing and authorship
If your career path doesn’t fall neatly into one of these areas, but you believe your experience would inspire students, we still encourage you to participate.
